A TextureLED project showcase for an interior that uses artwork, slow motion and a considered off-state to make one wall more versatile.
Design brief
The interior should remain composed, even when the screen is quiet.
In a private residence, a display cannot behave like a conventional black screen. The client needs a surface that can hold curated art by default and become dynamic only when the moment calls for it.
TextureLED approach
- Set the art, frame direction and proportions around the interior composition first.
- Plan still artwork and ambient motion as the default content language rather than continuous advertising-style video.
- Review power, ventilation, mounting depth and service access with the millwork or wall construction team.
